Tri-Campus
Tri-Campus is an on-going collaboration between the Bruce Nesbitt African American Cultural Center at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Diversity Center at the University of Illinois Springfield. All 3 campuses came together to create an opportunity to give the students that they serve an opportunity to learn about the three offices/centers, connect with students from the other campuses, and discuss the Black student experience within the University of Illinois System. It takes place each February.
In February of 2024, the first tri-campus event took place at the University of Illinois Springfield. The theme was, Homes Away from Home: Black Students' Activism and Belonging at the University of Illinois.
