SUMMARY:BCC Diaspora “Wars”?: Bridging Conversations and Perspectives
DESCRIPTION:This event will aim to center on the complex dynamics of Diaspora wars and their influence on Black student perspectives here at UIC, with an emphasis on student-led discussions. Black clubs and organization leaders interested in participating, such as the African Student Association, Caribbean Students Association, Black Student Union, and others, are invited to join the conversation as panelists. The event will feature a panel discussion and open dialogue to foster understanding, build community, and raise awareness. Students will lead the discussions, creating a space for diverse voices to share their experiences and perspectives on unity and identity within the Black Diaspora at UIC and help create a solution for how the BCC can help bridge the gap. | Event post: https://blacc.uic.edu/events?page_id=7349
